Abstract

The expectations of citizenship and employment in the new millennium have altered as a result of the development of the global economy. In light of these challenges, the workplace and society of the twenty-first century require individuals with twenty-first-century abilities. The purpose of the study was to explore the evidence for the implications of 21st-century skills at teacher educator institutions at Karachi. The study's objective was to investigate how current teaching methods and teacher education programs at affiliated colleges relate to 21st-century skills. The study was focused on four skills: creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration, which are part of the 21st Century Skills. Qualitative approach was also used in this research study using Phenomenological research method to examine the experiences of teacher educators in articulation 21st-century skills regarding creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration.  Data derived from interviews was than analyzed to deduct themes on Articulation of 21st Century Skills: Evidence of Pedagogical Skills of Teacher-Educators Regarding Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking and Creativity” After analyzing the data, the results were interpreted, and recommendations were made. Based on the findings and the discussion, the research showed that teacher educators incorporate 4C skills have faced challenges in incorporating these skills.
