Plagiarism Guidelines

Plagiarism is a serious ethical offense that undermines the integrity of academic research and publication. "The Knowledge" journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic honesty and originality. Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal must adhere to the following plagiarism guidelines:

  1. Originality: Authors must ensure that their submissions represent original work and that all sources are properly cited. Direct quotations, paraphrased material, and ideas borrowed from other sources must be appropriately attributed.
  2. Proper Citation: Authors should accurately cite all sources consulted during the research process, including books, articles, websites, and other scholarly works. Failure to provide proper attribution constitutes plagiarism.
  3. Self-Plagiarism: Authors must avoid self-plagiarism by refraining from reusing significant portions of their own previously published work without proper citation. Each submission should contain original content and contribute new insights to the field.
  4. Plagiarism Detection: The Journal employs plagiarism detection software (Turnitin) to screen all submitted manuscripts for potential instances of plagiarism. Authors are encouraged to conduct their own plagiarism checks before submitting their work to the journal.
  5. Consequences of Plagiarism: Manuscripts found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected or retracted from publication. Authors guilty of plagiarism may be subject to sanctions, including but not limited to being banned from submitting to the Journal in the future.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the integrity of their submissions and for familiarizing themselves with best practices for avoiding plagiarism. By adhering to these guidelines, authors contribute to the maintenance of academic integrity and the advancement of knowledge in their respective fields.
